Periodic Videos

I thought Jacksfilms seemed familiar...looking at most popular videos, there's the wtf blanket and jesus christ sponge. Good for a quick nostalgic laugh.

iPlay Retro could have gotten my vote, but no commentary alongside the gameplay? I did only look at a few vids, but if that is the norm, I'll pass.

Periodic Videos is another channel filmed by Brady, but unlike Numberphile which has a wider range of mathematicians, Periodic Videos primarily features Sir Martyn Poliakoff (who was knighted a couple years back, in part, for his involvement with the channel). His enthusiasm is unparalleled and there are more than a few interesting factoids to be found when browsing through the elements (and other related chemical compounds). Aside from youtube playlists, it might be helpful to use a periodic table to decide what to watch.

But however it is viewed, it is a wonderful channel that anyone interested in science would likely enjoy.
