If Trump thinks he can just bomb Syria flat and that will solve the problem, I suspect that will actually wind up being worse in the long run than doing nothing at all. The US has this really bad habit of killing dictators, then expecting a fully flourishing democracy to magically spring up in their place. Assad needs to be taken out, no question there - but the million dollar question is who's going to replace him. --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer. Kill 10 men: You are a monster.
