| BreezyExcursion 04/11/17 1:25:48 PM #6: | im a some awful combination of a business analyst/project manager/system integrator at an investment bank get into the office somewhere around 8:30-9 ny time read 5 billion emails from people in london and asia at this point someone in london has probably seen my skype status go green and i will get 50 calls about tests they want me to run barely pay attention to a series of 3 unnecessarily long conference calls with the business, while simultaneously trying to run tests for london people who are breathing down my neck so they can go home tests fail because i'm managing the project that all of the inexperienced and/or bad devs were assigned to tell them what needs to be fixed spend 2 hours writing a script that would take an actual coder (i'm a finance major) 12 minutes its 4pm-5pm, london is gone. absolutely nothing to do. stare at screen and ponder what the point of living is. post 5pm - gets busy again since tech ppl gotta make changes when the markets are closed. normal day im out at 6:15, when im doing turnovers i've been stuck around until 9. --- produce rope shoot rope ...
