My biggest problem with this, outside of the fact that it's entirely stupid, is that they have no clue about what this would actually affect if every internet-connected device is required to have this filter. Especially if they're trying to charge entities with felonies for making devices without this filter. Who at Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HP, Avaya, Polycom, etc. are they going to charge with a felony for making a router, switch, firewall, or VoIP phone without this filter?
