But I bet his job would be easier if he was defending literally anyone else in Trump's position, even if they shared Trump's political stances. Trump just stumbles so much on dumb shit, Spicer has to deal with an avalanche of hard questions and can't just acknowledge that Trump blundered. He chooses to be a stooge and say stupid shit.
