Anyway, back to 5-6! At this point, the game starts piling the suspicion onto Herman Crab hardcore. They lead you into thinking that Crab was Azura Summers's boyfriend due to the charms, although it seems preposterous at face value. Sasha also says she overheard Dr. Crab talking about euthanizing Orla, even though he says he found the practice abhorrent before. He's also got that sidelong glance with the sinister grin that doesn't help his case any (although it's a great animation). He happens to have a supply of the 3Zs pills on hand and recently ordered a bunch of them, according to Apollo's investigation. Crab also has a couple of Psyche-Locks, including a five lock one that you don't actually get to break because Fulbright busts in to ask him to be the prosecution's witness for the trial because Rimes is refusing to cooperate. The bizarre thing is that Phoenix freaks out when he sees the five locks and wonders, "How will I ever break these?" I know it's been a while, dude, but you've broken plenty of five lock ones before! Has there actually been a five lock one you actually break in either DD or SoJ? I don't think so.

Oh right, I forgot to mention I think this is the only case where you actually encounter Blackquill outside of court (or prison in 5-5). You meet him briefly during the investigation, but he doesn't really have much to say. Pearl also discovers the upside down handprint on the ladder that will ultimately save the day at the end! Good work, Pearl!
