There are countless reasons why people lose touch with their friends over the years. It's quite the common occurrence and it doesn't necessarily mean that you're the problem; rather you're not the ONLY problem.

Sometimes you lose touch because you evolve and change over time. Idiosyncrasies evolve too. Opinions and outlooks in life, life goals change and sometimes you realise that it no longer matches with those of your friend (s) and vice versa.

Then there's also the fact that you might not have the time to see them regularly if at all. Then you might be too far (geographically speaking)...So don't feel too bad.

Coming to terms with friendships ending can be painful but it isn't the end. As you've gained friends while you were younger, you'll make new ones now that you're older. At least now, now that you're more matured, you'd know better in what you look for in a friend. Stay positive; positivity attracts positive occurrences in life!
