Well if Nintendo was smart they would make more of them, showing that people are willing to pay like $150-200 for a new NES mini, and Nintendo compounds this problem by only producing the console for a short period of time. Just because you don't get it doesn't mean it isn't smart. Remember: Nintendo is in the trading business--has been since the end of the 19th century--first and the game development business as a means to an end.
