Topic	I ranked all of the years in the contest and included my top 3 for each year.
Metal_DK 04/21/17 4:04:38 PM #4:	Top Tier, Peak of Gaming 1998 (nuff said) 2001 (especially the second half) 1995 (Warcraft 2, DKC2, CT, Earthbound, Yoshi's Island, Command and Conquer) 1999 (PC gaming existed before steam people) Great years 1994 (Perhaps my favorite 1-2-3 punch of FF6, Super Metroid, and DKC, slightly less depth than 1995 though) 1997 (FF7 and SotN headling or is it Mario Kart 64 and Goldeneye...idk great year though) 2000 (More great PC gaming here people) 2004 (Fall 2004 last time I was excited for the industry as a whole) Good Years 1990 (Amazing last hurrah of the NES's last year as the primary Nintendo console) 1991 (SNES beginnings) 1996 (N64 solid first few months, SMRPG, a couple of underrated PC games in Civ 2 and Diablo) 1987 (LoZ, Metroid, Gauntlet, Mega Man 1) 1989 (Great year for platforming) 1992 (Bucky O'Hare shout out, one of the most underrated games of all time. Dune 2 and Sonic 2 as well, Super Mario Kart too) Average Years 2013 (Path of Exile is the most underrated game of the past 10 years, solid PC year in that and more) 1985 (Early NES greatness) 2003 (A lot of solid 7 to 8.5/10 games, nothing top tier though) 1993 (Doom, Myst, Secret of Mana, Link's Awakening...weak best games but some fun) 1981 (Great quick play games) 1978 (Great quick play games as well) Below Average Tier 2006 (Meh) 2009 (Uncharted 2 is liked, i thought it was ok, Dragon Age as well) 2010 (Civ 5 was solid, Starcraft 2 was good but a disappointment, Fallout New Vegas was solid) 2014 (some ok games i guess in Shovel Knight, Dark Souls 2, meh idk maybe a tier lower) Bad Tier 2005 (Resident Evil 4, a game that was good but way over praised, and uh....) 1979 (meh) 1986 (Bubble Bobble is ok i guess) 2008 (Persona 4 and not much else, Brawl was terrible) 2002 (Just a sad follow up to 2001, but 2001 was so damn good it carried over) 2016 (Overwatch and not much else) Really Bad Tier 1988 (Uh Japan got Mega Man 2 at least) 2011 (uh....) 2012 (ya this aint good..) 2015 (Undertale i thought was ok, and not much else) Most important Year since the Crash of 1983 for all the wrong reasons tier 2007 (Most overrated year in gaming history, when gaming turned into the overall joke it is today) --- Casual Revolution 2007 - 2016 <cite>Metal_DK posted [p:877641021] in I ranked a...
