I adored Life Aquatic when I first saw it, but it's lost its luster over time. The ending was just too cringey by a half for me. The first half of the movie and rescuing the bond stooge is still golden though.

Might be because it's still fairly new, but I have to say Grand Budapest might be my favorite flick of his. Which is weird though, because it's usually the ensemble cast that's the draw of his movies, and Ralph Fiennes carries most of that one. Royal Tenenbaums is a very close second.
