| Topic | Sorta changing my tune on universal healthcare |

When I was growing up as a kid in Illinois, there was a program called SCHIP (State Children's Health Insurance Program) It was designed to provide kids with good health insurance if their parents made too much money to qualify for Medicaid but too little money to reasonably afford health care. Looking back, that program made all the difference in my early life. Had two surgeries because of it, that I couldn't have had otherwise. Every kid should have access to something like that up until they graduate from college imo. --- These people are literally ignorant of the law. It's astounding.
