I believe a good portion of the people that say Schumer was the reason know this. But the internet has to stick to that anti-Schumer narrative. Or it doesn't matter if it was in beta test or not. All sorts of features that are in a site's beta test never get added to the main site. Look at all the beta test features in Gmail that have been there for years but never implemented. What matters is how long the thumbs were in beta test. If it was recently, okay.
