Short of you being willing to elaborate on exactly what it is you spoiled (preferably in spoiler tags, obviously), and it being blatantly obvious and unspoilery (as opposed to what I'm assuming you spoiled), I'm going to side with the person who thinks you're a dick.

Not everyone even watches trailers if they know they want to watch the movie.
