Impeachment isn't being removed from office; it's when Congress brings charges against the President, which is what happened to Clinton. He and Andrew Johnson are the only presidents to have been impeached by the House, with both of them being acquitted by the Senate.

And to answer the TC's question, I was alive when Clinton was impeached.
