| iiicon 05/10/17 5:17:28 PM #32: | The return depends on a lot of things, like dev time, publisher expectations, budget, etc, and a lot of this information is something we can only infer. But Andromeda was in development for 4 years, and sold less at launch than ME3 (so, less than 1.3M), and has poor word of mouth/reviews. It's less about where it places relative to the titles that year, and more about how much was invested in it vs. how it did compared to other genre titles. Skyrim and Fallout are massive games outside of everyone's reach, but something like The Witcher 3 did 10M+ and should conceivably be attainable for BioWare. Inquisition, which did well, didn't reach that, and Andromeda won't even reach Inquisition, so it's time to shut it down and chase the Destiny shared world train I guess. --- ICON: We've got movie sign! ...
