He only comes to earth because there are fighters of sufficient power to drain, but he wouldn't find any if the androids wipe them out who themselves give off no power indication and probably can't be used anyway. He does in Super in Future Trunks' timeline. It just takes him ten years longer. Yeah, presumably because Trunks himself got super strong. Trunks doesn't even get born if they don't go to Namek. There's no way Vegeta ever ends up with Bulma because he won't end up back with them on Earth even if he did survive Namek somehow. The manga suggests that Babadi has just been collecting energy for ten years. Doesn't suggest that any of it was Trunks, as he was on the Kai planet training at the time. But yeah, Yamcha's knowledge would help wipe out threats before they even occurred. Though Frieza does know about Earth and its dragon balls, so he might go there to destroy the planet either if Namek's dragon balls are a bust (ie. he kills every one before discovering you need to make the wish in Namekian) or to prevent any one from using Earth's balls to undo his wish or something. --- Still the number one reason for the success of the Internet.
