Nirvana is one of those bands that's transcended just music, but culture in general in the 90's. So the Nirvana "brand" represents that on top of the music. And obviously there's the fact.that everything about Nirvana just seemed cool as fuck, I mean realistically Kurt was pretty uncool, being a junkie with mental healthy issues and all, but as far as their pop culture presence goes, everything about them was just cool as fuck. And by saying that I'm not meaning that people are just acting like they do because they think it's cool, but obviously there will always be some that do, I just mean that because they also seemed so cool and were so significant in pop culture and 90's culture that it gives them an extra layer on top of just simply liking their music, making you more inclined to want the t-shirts, the posters, to talk about them, etc. As apposed to other bands that are good but don't really represent anything more than just a good band. --- "You need to lay off the peanut-butthurt and u-jelly sandwiches" - Neon Octopus ...
