The one Liquid emerged with on Shadow Moses, though there's no official statement about, should be assumed to be the original Ray. It differs from the mass produced ones inside Arsenal in that it is manually piloted (even the ones in Rising are AI), has a tail and has different headlights (or eyes). Though they might eventually later say it wasn't the original if they ever make more sequels, as it is, there's no reason to believe so.
Like I said, there is a novelization of MGS4 which implies it's just an Arsenal Gear one that Ocelot modified. ---
