It helps even less when you realize that most of the Angstheists on the Internet are mostly ill-informed idiots. I'm not really going to take advice on the fundamental and objectively true nature of the vast infinite cosmic reality from people who often seem barely able to tie their own shoes without help.
Agnosticism is literally the only rational philosophy, and ironically, the only one actually supported by scientific method. "I don't know, let's keep looking" is a far better creed than anything espoused by people who swear blind THEY'VE got the right answer and try to beat it into anyone who disagrees.
I'm mostly a Secular Agnostic, though, so I generally just react to what I see and hear and don't worry about anything beyond that, and I figure once I'm dead I'll get the rest of the answers if there are actually any answers to be had. I mostly leave debating about the existence or non-existence of all sorts of theoretical concepts (gods, ghosts, aliens, the capacity for humans to not be total shitbags to each other, whether or not there can ever actually be a political party that doesn't suck, etc) to people with way more time on their hands and nothing better to do.
