But I can't imagine ditching a date is a court-worthy offense. He shouldn't have a serious case. The article really only presents the guy's side of the dispute. Maybe the woman really was a shallow bitch. Or maybe she had understandable reason to leave prematurely. Not everybody considers texting during a movie a heinous offense. It's rude during a date, but she might have been one of those people who doesn't comprehend why. It's socially inept, but I wouldn't consider it something to blow up about. He could have just not called her back rofl. The guy looked worse by taking $17 to court. Now that he's definitely a loser for. Not only does it say he's immature, it implies he's so broke that $17 is a big deal for him... Girl might take the whole ordeal as a life lesson too. If ignoring her date to text was enough to piss off this reject, imagine if she did it with her dream man.
