Also his list is stupid, because i've been working since i was like 15 and i realized that its more who you know than anything else. At the company i'm with now theres a dude who's been there like 25 years but is quiet and never talks and hasnt moved up. I talked to him about it and its not even that he doesnt want it no one knows he exists. His whole list is "how to be a slave to the corporate workplace" essentially. Be a good little worker and maybe you'll get something That is not how I interpreted it. And most people do not have bad jobs -- they have bad bosses. And if you want to stay at the same position in a company, just show up and do your work. Do it well, and they'll definitely want to keep you there.
