It's kind of an obvious conclusion, still a lot of people don't think of the difference in resources required for growing and maintaining livestock compared to just growing vegetable gardens. We could dramatically decrease our contribution to the current situation, if we organized our meals around this and significantly cut down on meat consumption. I doubt all of us going vegetarian would be enough though.
