I don't think there's any real point in getting worked up about an early day 1 train that died really quickly. Actually, I'm a little suspicious of Terra for presenting it as a big deal. I read a theory article recently pointing out that scum is often the first to cry out against a train. I imagine that would be particularly likely on town.

I'm not presenting it in a big deal. I mentioned it once. This is exactly what I mean by you look WAY into so many minute things. Not sure if it's a town or scum tell, but I seriously don't like it at all honestly. That's not how you read people properly imo

And it's actually quite viable looking into a train even if it died. Could be indicative of a player trying to gain town cred by pinning himself with another player. It's also an easy vote in general if you know the other person is town while you're scum. It's not like it was a true early day 1 train either. It was very clearly after the honeymoon phase, so you're wrong there as well.

There were well over 24 hours left in the day, it is hard to take it very seriously. I don't think MZero looks bad at all for voting. However, your reaction to it happened to fit with a scumtell I was looking out for.

In truth, I think jumping on an early train is actually a town thing to do. Scum doesn't like to commit so early.

What? A town tell? lol
If that was your definition of "early day 1," scum most DEFINITELY would vote whoever to blend in with everyone else, and as I said before, pairing yourself with another player like that if you know they're town to not look scummy is something I've seen scum players do plenty of times before, so that reasoning doesn't work.

And just because there were over 24 hours doesn't mean it isn't out of the honeymoon phase. Do you think we're still early game so votes mean squat now? Because we're still over 24 hours left even now. Once people start applying actual "reason" or attempt to gain legitimate reads on a person, it's very clearly not in the honeymoon phase anymore.

I don't know why you're so stuck in this honeymoon phase thing. The train was clearly meaningless.

Also I've noticed you've gotten very defensive in the last couple of posts. Very prickly.
