When you mention outrage culture, you mean garbage like Hugh Mungus or whatever other stupid reasons people come up with to be angry at whatever. This isn't outrage culture. This is a woman shopping who had to hear some ignorant woman spout racist remarks at her. Why should this be considered normal? I have every right to be outraged at this. Actually, we have a duty to be outraged at this. Pretending this is ok is just being part of the problem. This is disgusting, and having people in my life whom I love who are black, if they were ever to be under this kind of racist attacks, I would be very angry. You do not understand what it's like to grow up in a country believing people don't want you there, you have no idea what it is to feel like you are less than others just because of the color of your skin. Sure, more stable individuals can see how ridiculous that is and cast it aside, but some people, especially young children, suffer greatly because of the ignorance of others, and go through life carrying self-esteem problems because of this kind of crap.
