Topic	2017 is One Hell of a Year for Fighting Games

Saying survival counts is like saying the firing range in Call of Duty counts. The only reason it exists is to provide a medium to grind for in-game money without getting rekt online, really. Those character stories are both brief and aimless, and can be done in minutes. They don't really do anything justice for the characters, besides a general overview of what they're like.
