Screen size barely matters when your phone is 1/4 the size of a small laptop - needing a dongle to listen to music is slightly less pointless than the old periphery Nokia headphones that plugged into the charging jack or w/e. It's not price-gouging for a shitty pair of brand-name headphones with a shitty jack, but selling a shitty, useless piece of cord to let you use your headphones isn't much better. There's no reason to take out something that has become a standard, that takes up like an inch of room in a phone at most, only to replace it with an overpriced lump of plastic and rubber that exists solely to provide that same function.
