I had pretty good success doing two things:
1) playing the odds. The fact is that a lot of women are racist as fuck so if you keep that in mind with who you message you will be spending your time more wisely
2) Read their profile, read their answered questions and compose a message like this:

<Greeting>

I am messaging you because you seem <personality trait they exhibit> and < another personality trait>! I also love that we both enjoy < something you both have in common>!

<question concerning what you have in common> [IE Who is your favorite]

<Farewell>

<Your name>


Basically your #1 priority is to show you took the time to read their profile and aren't solely interested in fucking them. You are going to way better results composing an actual message than a glorified plz respond.

If you get a reply back just keep a conversation going. At some point she is going to be more comfortable and then you. An move to asking for her number.

DO NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT HOW THEY LOOK UNTIL YOU MEET THEM IN PERSON
