Do you mean like move buffs and whatnot?

Based on my limited experience and occasional chat bubble, they use "moves introduced up to gen 3, but with their attributes as of gen 6."

It's inconsistent though. For example, my Nuzleaf learned Thief, and it said it had 60 power. Thief only had 40 power in gen 3, but was buffed in gen 6. HOWEVER, my Marshtomp's Surf has 95 power, though it was nerfed from 95 to 90 in gen 6 as well.

In other words, Thief's buff was applied, but Surf's nerf was not, despite both changes happening in gen 6. So, maybe they just included buffs and neglected nerfs? Because Thunderbolt also does 95 in PokeMMO, but that was nerfed to 90 in gen 6 as well.

It's not official at all. It's been out since at least around 2012 (the oldest post in the "announcements" section of the forum). But honestly, I can't find a single way to donate or contribute or anything, so it doesn't seem like they're making any money. Hopefully Nintendo/GF is lax since it doesn't appear to be for-profit (as far as I know).
