I would argue WOTOG meta was more Warrior than Shaman But when ONIK came out and gave Shaman Portal and Claws to flip against one of the weaker matchups (Zoo) and the nerfs actually ended up hurting the decks that could compete with Mid Shaman (Warrior, Hunter, Decks with Yogg) that was when Shaman became the top class. (Even after Claws nerf it was probably on the path towards being a top class) Even this expansion they got two really good cards in Primalfin Totem and Volcano but it doesn't matter that much cause every class got ridiculous cards this expansion --- BK_Sheikah took the guru, and it makes sense because he's both Banjo Kazooie and OOT! ...
