Topic	Trails in the Sky I sincerely see as masterpiece video games.

Is Cold Steel really just Trails + Persona? lmao It has some elements but mostly is just set up for Cold Steel 2 where you're off doing more traditional JRPG stuff. Cold Steel definitely has some school elements, but it's not school simulation the way Persona is. The only thing school life does in Cold Steel is create dynamics between characters and show personal growth (also lots of sidequesting), while setting up for the bulk of the story, which happens to be your field expeditions.
