I'll admit 90% of season 8 is ass, but the florida arc and season 9 have some really strong stuff. Not all of it is comedy, but they do some great late-season character building. it's mostly that they completely break andy's character and the new characters they add (robert california, nellie) are just not good. Those are all of my complaints as well. Nellie is one of the worst characters in television.
