That you can't just assign a number to a piece of media and be done with it. Things are more complicated than that. I think Adam Sessler said it best when talking about X-Play's 1 to 5 rating system. At the end of the day it's mostly subjective anyway and trying to narrow things down to some pinpoint number is just absurd. You can just assign a number to a piece of media and aggregate sites averaging those numbers is usually a good indication of entertainment value.
