To be honest, "Hollywood" does have a point. And it's a point that the gaming industry has been trying to make for years too. That you can't just assign a number to a piece of media and be done with it. Things are more complicated than that. I think Adam Sessler said it best when talking about X-Play's 1 to 5 rating system. At the end of the day it's mostly subjective anyway and trying to narrow things down to some pinpoint number is just absurd.

They got two options: They can just ignore it or they can put more work into the quality of their content if they really care that much about what some review aggregator site says rather than pulling the "movies aren't for critics" card.
