Topic	Black Church receives $2000 from an anonymous WHITE Man who used to be RACIST!!!

Yes No because the ones i know still are I never knew a racist View Results Nicholtown Prebyterian Church in Greenville, South Carolina, a predominantly black church has received an anonymous donation from an unlikely source... They were heartened by a letter sent by someone claiming to be an EX-RACIST in the past and made a $2000 dontion!! The letter read "First, i am white and used to be a terrible racist. Thanks to Jesus and the Holy Spirit acting through th Presbyterian Church, i have been cleansed of that. I am appalled at my former thoughts and words. I send thsi donatioin as a heartfelt apology to the African American community. If you were ever looking for proof that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are alive an well today, and that miracles, just as in Biblical times, still happen toay, this is it! Apart from jesus and the Holy Spirit, acting through the Presbyterian Church, this transformation never would have happened." Reverend Michael Sullivan, a preacher at the church commented that the congregation normally collects donations but were pleasantly surprised by the gesture and the message. He said "Hearing his testimony...in a sense he had been changed from a particular mindset" The rest of the letter explains the life that the sender lived before his thinking and added that the 2000 was to be used for what they saw fit... Beverly Kelly, another pastor said "It's like a miracle" because funds at the church were depleting as the church was in the process of requesting a $1400 grant from the Presbytery so they could transport children to church on Sundays and have a nice breakfast.
