Berlin, 1945. Interesting, so we're jumping into WW2?

Aaaaand we're getting heavy metal, off the bat. I wonder if this will keep up or we'll jump to orchestral accompaniments later.

That's a nice line. Prose is aight so far (though 'in accordance to the Neumann effect' is so overly technical it just looks silly). We begin with a company of german soldiers, being decimated by the russian army...and soon there's just three left. We even get to know them a bit! The main one's name is Walter Gerlitz, and his companions are Joachim Brauner and Marco Schmitt. We don't get to see much of them, though - as soon as they came, Joachim and Marco are gone, killed by gunfire and explosives. Walter prepares to die and then...
