TopicI think I might get 2 or 3 more Wii U games, then that's it for that console.

Honestly I think Color Splash is at least worth checking out if you can get a discount. It's got the charm from previous Paper Mario games down perfectly, has one of the best-looking art styles I've seen, cool level design that comes close to TTYD's, and some pretty decent music. Battling is the weakest part of the game unfortunately.

While I like the glass cannon idea (everybody, including you, can deal a lot of damage, but they don't have much HP either) the way turns play out is pretty slow. There's also little point in engaging in battles to begin with. I mean, sure, you can level up your paint levels by doing battles, but you don't really need much paint to begin with past 200 (which you can get to pretty quickly). There's some cards that use up a lot of paint in order to color them in, but coins are also incredibly abundant in the game...meaning you can just buy painted cards.
