Primer
Primer was pretty bad, which makes sense for a film by Shane Curruth.
what a weird statement of opinion. the guy's only done 2 films. haven't seen the other one, but Primer is almost universally positively reviewed/received.
Upstream Color is decent. I don't think either of them are amazing but they're both interesting enough to hold your attention and are both probably worth a rewatch to understand everything.
Upstream Colour was arty and intellectual, which is good, but fairly boring to watch. I think it was probably too difficult to understand, as well.
Honestly I don't remember Upstream Colour as well as I do Primer. The main thing I remember from it is Shane Carruth has fantastic dress sense and I want all of his clothes. ---
