Everyone thinks their ethnic food growing up is so f****ing delicious that they've deceived entire generations to seek out "authentic cuisine." And then you eat it and it tastes like s*** and you realize their family only made that slop because they were poor growing up and they couldn't get their hands on real food. 90% of all ethnic food is what would be considered peasant food. Basic scraps placed together to make a meal. But European ethnic food tends to be the worst outside of Mediterranean food. Just pickled herring, and boiled cabbage stuff. --- ...
