It's not literally your morality that they're crying over. If it's actual morality it should be trainable and improvable on both sides, so an agreement/compromise can be found. That's fine.

The issue is that religious morality is just code word for "I won't listen to anything you have to say about it ever". And when you have opposing ideas that you will never think about critically, you're nothing but a frustration to talk to.

On top of that, the religious part tends to imply you want to spread it. Making this topic where you call everyone who disagrees with you immoral implies that as well...

So now you want to actively spread dumb, aggressively insulting ideas without listening to what we have to say, and you intend to get angry if we don't agree. That's what "religious morality" means when you say it.
