TopicTrump seeks cuts to Federal housing aid except the program that benefits him

I'm going to try my best to spin this as an exercise. From the WaPo article we learn:
-Trump maintains rent subsidized apartments for housing low income tenants, which he doesn't have to do.
-except for the end of the article where they say they don't actually know how much stake he still has in these locations
-any stake he may have was placed into a trust when he became president, meaning he isn't seeing the money directly
-The subsidies from the govt make up for the lack of rent being charged, balancing out the total rent that would otherwise be charged (tenants pay 30%, the govt covers the rest) therefore not increasing the amount of money one would make from renting those apartments
-nevertheless the WaPo article claims those subsidies as profits and not subsidies
-the money subsidized from this program represents about 1% of Trump's housing profits, anyway, meaning the impact is almost negligible even if it were profit.
