When has it become expected for self-professed good people to be so heartless? We're talking about religion, here. When has it become expected for religious types to be truly accepting of everyone? That's just not how it works, and I know you know that. I'm not saying she deserves to be shunned. If anything, I support the idea of coming out and being comfortable with who you are as a person. But everyone understands the reality of religion.
