Einstein did contribute to the atom bomb, but it woulda been discovered anyway so can't really blame him (might be wrong on that, just something I vaguely remember...do remember Edison is not liked though). yeah i don't know why people believe this, like the atom bomb would have never been invented had einstein never been born or something.
