I thought people said scalpers use some sort of device that eats up all of the orders in seconds (I'm not a computer guy) places like amazon put in ways to protect against that. For example, when they released the Skyward Sword amiibo, it was limited to 1 per Amazon Prime account. So if you wanted 10, you'd need 10 different prime accounts, and 10 different VMs running a bot to buy it, and then you've only bought 10 despite this monumental effort.
