Yeah the thing is I don't care about the gif itself so much as what it kind of represents - it's another example of Trump being so...lacking. I feel like strong surface representation is like a baseline for being a leader of a civilised country. He's supposed to be the best of you, your leader, someone to look up to, someone who doesn't get bogged down in trivial nonsense every fucking day. It's not just that he posted a wrestling gif, it's that he wastes his time embroiling himself in a war with a news outlet he dislikes, complaining about their coverage of him night and fucking day instead of getting shit done. This right here is why this irritates me so much. And it's worse than Obama doing it once every 3 months. Where is the Gilbert and Sullivan sense of duty and obligation? Where is the studious nature of a Lincoln? Where is the desire to set humble and healthy precedent like Washington?
