I've been getting terrors my whole life. usually a few times a week I generally don't remember the at this point.
My fiance is good at waking me up now on the first indication I'm having one. Usually a scream or audible struggle in my sleep.
I get the paralysis and the shadow men it's scary shit when it happens. I try not to sleep on my back because it tends to trigger them more when I do because I think I sleep deeper because I breath better.
I actually had one this morning it was pretty fucked up I was with my fiance in my dream and I went into a bathroom and had blood all over a certain part of my body so I decided to get into the shower. When I got in the shower there was this "mirrored" image of a person I couldn't quite make out because it was like that mirror effect when multiple mirror go into on another. I then looked up and there was a shadow man looking down on my from over the top of the shower. His face was all blacked out and kind of blurry I proceeded to scream at this point and my fiance woke me up.
I rolled over and went back to bed. I don't let them win anymore at this age they can fuck off.
That does sound freaky as hell. I thought you generally weren't suppose to remember night terrors though. When I was researching this morning, I thought I read something that you aren't actually dreaming during a night terror. ---
