If a woman goes to an undercover cop, thinking he's a hitman, and says "Here's 20 thousand dollars, kill my husband," it doesn't matter that he's not a hitman... It matters that she thought he was. What very much matters here is what Donald Jr. THOUGHT he was doing. This is what's so mindblowing about Jr's excuses. The "I thought she had a bombshell but she just roped me in with a nothing burger!" excuse namely. Like what the fuck, he thinks the problem is that he didn't get to collude? That's basically every single episode of To Catch a Predator, as Chris Hansen comes in before they get to do anything --- I request affiliated many pipes. Been a bad girl, I know I am.
