If he was after money he could have gotten more from other projects. Carter is one of the precious few politician who actually legitimately cares about his fellow man. I've seen him in his spare time helping to rebuild destroyed houses with no cameras around. It's actually kinda sad that he was so incompotent as a leader. Imagine his ethics and morals in the body of a man who actually knew what he was doing yep.
