There are a couple types of beers that I "like", but really it's more that I "like them more than other beers". I don't know anyone who tasted a beer of ANY kind for the first time and was like "hey, that shit's tasty!" Part of why people like them as they age could be with changing taste buds, over time you start liking different things its why a kid could eat 2-3 pounds of candy and not have enough when people over 50 have trouble eating one full sized candy bar.
