Like... that literally implies to America as well, to the same extent as most of Europe
Maybe I'm crazy, but here in the US i don't have big brother watching me with cctv cameras on every corner, I can buy a goddamn kitchen knife without an id or age limit, I can criticize islam (or whatever else) on social media without being put in jail, I'm allowed to arm myself responsibly to protect myself and my property etc.
I'm not saying the US is some utopia, i'm not a country fanboy. We have the cop issue and our political system is a joke. But hell i'd still rather be here than over there.
Just because another country doesn't have the same speech laws that we do, does not mean that we necessarily have more freedoms
Are you forgetting the whole patriot act thing?
And referencing gun and access to other self defense weapons is pretty meaningless when you look at things from a logical, statistical, and less emotional standpoint.
I'd 100% rather live in the U.K., Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, or Canada rather than America
>Sweden
Well alrighty then, now I can't even take you seriously lol. Sweden is literally the rape capital of europe now thanks to forced immigration of middle eastern men. If you'd rather live there, then move there? Have fun with that, yikes.
"How do statistics work"
The only reason they're the "rape capital of the world" is because of how they report crimes like those
And the mayor of the UK has flat out been quoted as saying that terrorism is 'part and parcel of living in a big city', aka 'I'm not going to do anything about it, you just need to deal with it and accept it. '
"What is context?"
He never said that in regards to terrorism, he was saying that in regards to dealing with the problems as they arise
As in they will be ready to deal with and squash any problems like those instead of ignoring them and pretending they don't exist
Hilarious being as you said you can't take me seriously but you just decided to drop a bunch of "gotcha"'s that are either flat out false, misconstrued, or just taken out of context
