I started watching this show around the time I stopped watching Family Guy, and for some reason the humor just immediately clicked with me much more, and still does, frankly. I've seen pretty much every episode on Netflix (unfortunately, now they've taken off the majority of the show, and they're removing what's left next month). It's easy to write off as just another Seth McFarlane immature comedy, but there's something a little more special here. One of the big standouts is Patrick Stewart, who is fucking hilarious in every scene he's in. His character is so bizarre and wild that it's hard to believe it's actually him. The plots are just a step more creative than what Fox animation typically offers. One of my favorite episodes sees most of the world raptured and the main characters teaming up with Jesus to take down the Antichrist in a post-apocalyptic hellscape.
